I found much to interest me in the book & greatly admire the Author's courage and patience in some exceedingly trying circumstances. His persistent efforts to achieve the objects he had in hand, even when bowled over with fever &c.. amidst conditions lacking every ordinary comfort, deserved all & even more than the success attached.
