This is a postcard ("Carte Postale") showing a view of Nice: "40 — Nice —Les blanchisseuses du Paillon" (the washerwomen of the [river] Paillon). The repository reference number "[WP1/8/41]" appears on the reverse. The card is postmarked "NICE ALPES M[ARITI]MES 18.55"; date stamp unclear, but records show 18 January 1913. The card is annotated "Ans[were]d".
Myddleton Worrall (née Dawson), Dora Julia ("Julia Dawson") (1866-1946). British journalist and socialist. Editor of the letters page of the <i>The Clarion</i> (1895-1911) under the pen name "Julia Dawson".
