Dear Sir1
I have read your paper on Sexual Selection with much interest. The first more speculative part would I fear have no weight with those who follow Darwin in this matter; but the latter portion, dealing with the colours of the lizards of the Italian islands is very interesting and is a valuable contribution to the discussion. It would be worth printing in "Nature" or in some other Nat.[ural] Hist.[ory] periodical. I send you copies of two articles on another branch of Darwinism that you may not possibly have seen. I have returned the MSS as desired.
Yours very truly | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
