Science is shamefully neglected: had you been a miserable politician, or a wretched millionaire (maybe out of the hard earned halfpence of the poor) you might have been a peer.
But I think it likely that you have desired more lasting & innocent gratification from your labours than they from theirs and have certainly earned the gratitude & respect of all thinking people.
