Many thanks for the nice lots of your alpine & other plants you have sent me seeds of. They are very acceptable, & I hope they will grow. The Gentians however are often difficult to get to germinate. Some want snow, which cannot be had here to order. I am very busy and overwhelmed with correspondence, so please excuse P[ost]. C[ard]. Kind regard to Mrs C.
