Dear Mr. Marsh
As nothing can be done today and I have several matters to attend to tomorrow morning I propose coming by the afternoon express which reaches Newhaven at 8.33. I shall have to leave on Sunday afternoon in order to get to Poughkeepsie and have rest on Monday before my lecture as I have been suffering from a head cold & hoarseness.
