Dear Sir
If yourself or Mr Wallace or both would like to see the Review on the Common1 on Saturday it will give me much pleasure to see you at my residence[.] The Review comes off I think about 5 in the afternoon but if the distinguished naturalist thought of coming I should prefer it being early in the day for the sake of pointing out the beauty of civilisation and cultivation — I and Alfred made use of the [2] Saturday Zoological Ticket2 and were more than grateful — and the Birds of Paradise which we were told had greatly improved in plumage by their residence in [one word illeg.] England — are indeed the gems of the collection — if favored with a line I would meet you or yours at the Wimbledon Station[.]
