Private
14th November, 1913.
Dear Sir,
Lord Haldane has forwarded to the Prime Minister your letter of the 11th instant.
In reply I am to say that the Prime Minister has already received represent — ations with regard to the sadly reduced circumstances in which Mrs. Wallace is placed. Though it is not possible for him to continue the pension which her
husband enjoyed, to the in full, he is taking steps to provide for her as generously as possible.
Yours faithfully | [no signature]
Professor R. Meldola.
