I am sending you the materials of my lecture1 at Cape Town on Burchell2 with the new facts which sprang from the lecture itself. I think the early recognition of cryptic resemblance & mimicry will interest you, & I hope I have said enough to get know that he was a very remarkable insufficiently appreciated man.
