The Dell. Grays, Essex
June 2nd.
Dear Miss Buckley[,]
I have been expecting to hear that you had returned but supposing you have done so I write to thank you for the plants you were good as to send from Switzerland where I hope you enjoyed yourself. They arrived in very good condition & I hope will live. They were all very acceptable kinds. We are still in great confusion having migrated down stairs, & upstairs still is not [2] straight. After this week we shall be happy to see you any time. You can run down & stay the night.
With best wishes │ Believe me │ Yours very faithfully | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
