Dear Sharpe

If you are not too busy could you write me down a list of the Genera of Madagascar Passeres1, with [the] number of species known in each, and placing each in the family you now think they belong to.

I am picking out the Geog[raphical]. Dist[inctions]. from your "Falcones"2, — which seems to me a first rate Catalogue. When will the "Striges"3 be out?

Yours very truly | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
