AUTHOR’S CLUB,

S.W.
Jan. 9. 1913.
Dear Sir,
I had no idea writing the enclosed appreciation when called upon you. But the editor of "T.P’s Weekly" leaving[?] I had seen you recently asked me to write an article. Feeling entirely sympathetic to your work I felt I would draw[?] methods[?] refer[r]ing this [2] matter to you. I am at present engaged on the plant article for America.
I sincerely hope that some completed authority will now devote himself to a standard your life’s work as a whole.
Yours truly[?] | Wilkinson Sherren [signature]
