Dear Sir,

At the Annual General Meeting of the above Union last evening (8th inst.) an unanimous expression of hearty greetings congratulations upon the attainment of your 90th Birthday celebration was recorded & is herein proferred for your [2] acceptance.

Furthermore I am instructed to express, their sincere appreciation of your splendid services to the cause of spiritualism with the earnest desire that the beautiful Light of Truth to which you have so nobly borne witness for 90 years may reflect in the gratitude of the multitudes you have enlightened to cheer & brighten the eventide until the day break & the shadows flee away.
