Broadstone, Dorset
April 17th. 1904
T. H. Thomas Esq.
Dear Mr. Thomas
Many thanks for the trouble you have taken in making & sending me the sketches of the two cottages. I have written to the photographer at Usk to take a photo. of the Kensington Cottage from some little distance, so as to show the surroundings.
Miss Neale has kindly offered to take [1 word crossed out illeg.] photos. at Neath, and I have asked her to try and get the cottage & church at Llantwit in one view from [2] a little distance. Neither of the cottages are picturesque enough to look well close, but coming in as part of a landscape they will do very well.
As to the farm, Bryncock was the name, which I had forgotten till I saw it in your letter. But do not trouble more about it, as it as only a common Welsh farm & would probably be quite unattractive.
When you come to Parkstone please come over & see us [3] & perhaps you may like to make a picture of some of the views from our house or near it.
Yours very truly | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
