Letter (WCP6142.7108)

[1]

8 North Hill

London, N. 6.

14/3/25

My dear Sir,

My informant reports that he believes

R. Goringe Co.

7 Brewery Road

London N. 7

will put you in touch with the person you are seeking.

There is also a

T. J. Hamilton Goringe J. P.

111 Homsey Lane N. 6.

who (I am told) moved there some years ago from East Finchley.

I return your letter to save you trouble, but perhaps you will allow me to add that I consider it a privilege to do anything (however little) for the son of one who [2] has, in fact, done so much for us.

I have not yet succeeded in guessing why a mere assistant-curate was selected for the honour, but I trust the clues may be of some use to you.

Yours very truly | Nichol Marsden [signature]

Aug[ust]. 12 Wrote thanking him & explaining. Also invited him to call of even in Death.
