My dear Wallace2,

I had already moved in the matter of the Bournemouth Museum3 & have just heard from Sir Daniel Morris4 that your name will be kept in mind. Unfortunately just now things are moving very slowly down there & there is no immediate prospect of their being able to get the funds for the maintenance of a paid Curator. Be assured that I will do all that I can in the matter. [2] I hope your mother5 is bearing up well & with kind regards to you all,

Yours sincerely | R. Meldola6 [signature]
