Dear Sir,

I now forward the particulars concerning the financial position of the two children of the late A. Russel Wallace. The statement has been prepared by the Rev. James Marchant (of 42 Great Russell St., W.C.) who is intimately acquainted with the family & who vouches for its accuracy. From my knowledge of the family I am able to confirm Mr. Marchant's statement.

Yours very faithfully, | R. Meldola [signature]

P.S.

I am extremely sorry to see from the papers that your son has been invalided home. You have every good wish for his speedy recovery.
