Thank you for your letter of April 10th. Mr. Ivan Sanderson’s ANIMAL TALES3,4 has now been published by Mess[ieu]rs. Klopf, and the fee for the use of the material in THE MALAY ARCHIPELAGO5, by Alfred Russel Wallace, has been paid to us. Since we have no other amount to your credit, we are sending the cheque for £11. 1s. 11d.6 herewith.

Mess[ieu]rs. Harrap7 inform us that their British edition has not yet been issued8.

We are sending a copy of the American edition9 under separate cover.
