Dear Mr. Wallace3,

It is announced by the Dorset Field Club4 that my address on Australian plants is fixed for Tuesday, February 8th. at 12.45.

I shall hope you will be good enough to arrange for me to have any plants of interest from Old Orchard5 to exhibit on that occasion.

Practically any species of Eucalyptus6, Acacia7, Grevillea8, Banksia9, Hakea10

[2] and others of Australian origin will be gladly welcomed. I am sure the members of the Society will be greatly interested to see some of the treasures from your father’s garden and they will highly appreciate your kindness.

According to my present plan I am likely to go to Dorchester on Monday afternoon the February 7th, in order to have time to arrange my specimens before the address, [3] by the 3.10 train from the central Station. I wonder whether you could leave the specimens either at Poole Station or the Central Station in the Cloak Room before my train arrives with instructions to hand them over to me when passing.

Between now and then perhaps you could look in to tea on Sunday afternoon when we could talk over the arrangements most convenient to yourself.

Sincerely yours | D. Morris11 [signature]
