Joseph Collinson Esq.

Dear Sir

I quite hold to what I said in my evidence as to Cancer, but I do not profess to have any special knowledge on the subject. I have newspaper cuttings giving the opinion of Dennis Turnbull L. C. R. P., L. C. R. S. Edinburgh, and William Hitchman M. D., M. R. C. S. E., stating that cancer has been conveyed by vaccination.

You can no doubt find the address of these gentlemen in a medical directory, & they will refer you to [2] the works on periodicals in which they have made these statements, and this from medical men will be for better authority than any opinion of mine. Dr Hitchman is consulting surgeon to the Cancer Hospital, Leeds, or is stated to be so.

I have the highest opinion of Mr. Jedd's book on Leprosy. It is the dearest and most exhaustive work on the subject.

Yours very truly | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
