H. A. Cruttwell, Esq.

Broadstone, Wimborne.

Jany 15th, 1906.

Dear Sir,

My old schoolmaster, Mr. C. H. Cruttwell, was married shortly before I left the school, and I am pretty sure had a family. I remember seeing his wife. He must have been married about 1836, and you will be able to [2] [p. 195] ascertain the births of his children by the register at All Saints' Church, if it was not lost when the church was burnt.

Yours very truly, | (signed) Alfred R. Wallace.
