Since I sent you the bit of peat I have learnt that it comes from Somersetshire, in the district between Evercreech and Glastonbury — where there is a great area of it, and it is in places very deep.
I dare say Mr Reid knows the district.
I shall hope some time in the summer to have a look at your bit of wild ground at Milford.
