Rosehill, Dorking

August 30th. 1876

Dear Sir

As I leave here on Saturday early for Glasgow to attend the British Association and shall be busy on Friday[,] tomorrow is the only day I could conveniently see you. There are trains from Cannon Street at 2.23 — 3.38 and 4.33. —

I should like to see the monkey if you can conveniently bring it.

Yours very faithfully | Alfred R Wallace [signature]

J B Steere2 Esq.

Text by ARW on the left margin which reads "Your[sic] will find a bus at the station that will bring you here"
