Mr Saunders2 handed me last summer a parcel of MS being a Cat[alogue]. of Aculeate Hymenoptera of India & Eastern Archipelago3 — prefaced by some introductory remarks by yourself. I propose to have them as one of the papers4 for the Linnean Society on Thursday the 16th inst[ant] & therefore write to ask if it would be convenient to you to read your own paper that evening. I propose first to have Kirby's5 paper6 on generic nomenclature, on which you will probably have some remarks to make so that you will be able to kill two birds with one stone.
