The Hamilton,
Saturday1
Dear Mr. Ward
If you are disposed for a walk tomorrow I should be glad if you could call for me about 10.30 am. I should like <to go to> High Island but am almost afraid it would be too far as I see by the map it is 5 miles from Georgetown. Are there not any boats to be had on the canal? Or we might perhaps go to the Reform School which you say is a good district. If you cannot come do not trouble to write as I will not expect you after 10.45
Yours very truly | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
P.S. I went to the observatory on Wednesday night and shd have paid you a call. A.R.W.
