[1]1

April 20/[18]95

Dear Dr Wallace

(1) I am very glad that you & S Williams have taken up <Drymid?>. After the experience with Col. Tylor, SPR cd not be asked to contribute, but I shall be happy to do so to some moderate extent; — perhaps when amount of expenses not is known you will let me know.

(2) I felt bound to hint at <Drymids?> funeral that it may only be courting disaster to buy his <phenomena> Journal at the Sp., Conference with Col Tylor unanswered in the background; but of course it is for Col. Tylor (Old Bath Road Cheltenham) to decide when & how he brings forward his extremely damaging evidence. [2]

(3) Complaints of <Dr> Crooke's will do no sort of good. [illeg.] <Drymid> any real evidence in his <forms>? That is the question. As things now stand I think that <Drymids> [illeg.] <friend> <should> <really> be <writing> to by [illeg.] [illeg.] for a fresh investigation into [illeg.] <factory?> <wd> I fear <Drymid> must be dropped out of <serious> consideration that I will help:— as I want the thing made as clear as possible one way or the other. [2 words illeg.] some <believer> in D. might help! Poor [illeg.], I fear, is ill. [3]

4: I hope that C's things are being carefully [illeg.] up !

5. I hope your new [illeg.] [illeg.] of Destiny has [illeg.] C! — is comfortable

Yours S. | [signature illeg.]
