Darwin Memorial Volume of Essays
Editor: A. C. SEWARD, Botany School, Cambridge
May 1, 1908.
Dear Sir,
I must ask you to forgive me for troubling you again about the Memorial Volume, but I should like to know whether you feel able to act on the suggestion contained in my last letter (March 30) namely to write a few pages on the early history or inception of the theory of Natural Selection. Prof Weismann has consented to contribute an essay on Natural Selection. My excuse for writing again is that I do not like to think of the book without anything from you.
I am, Yours very faithfully
Dr A. R. Wallace.
