My mother is better — and I will be able to [illeg.] her bed-side Monday — will you let me know as soon as you receive this whether [2] Mr Daly[?] will want me to report again or not? I inclose you a stamp. Of course you know that my engagement with Mr. Daly will end on the 12^th of April — so for that reason I didn't feel sure [3] whether I would be wanted at the theatre (having been away so long) again. Will you drop me a line ?
