Dear Mr Putnam
I have met a lady who has worked with you in Anthropology (Miss Fletcher I think) and she tells me that your annual Reports give much information as to the growth & contents of the Museum. I therefore write to ask you if you can be so good as to send me a complete set of them, as I am anxious to give some account of the Museum & its contents in one of our English Reviews.
Believe me | Yours faithfully | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
