In my copies of Spruces Notes &c it will be advisable to write all the names of plants or Indian or Portuguese terms used very distinctly, exactly as Spruce gives them, as otherwise they will almost all be printed wrongly. The botanical names you can get right in case of doubt — The Indian, local, & Portuguese name[s] I will see to if I have Spruces spelling exactly reproduced.

Written to say will go to Wimborne after London and take with me Books of MSS, Drawings, negatives of Photos & earlier Photo. Need ^some other correspondence & after returning home both my daughter & self will be ready to help in copying mss. for press or in any other way we can.
