A. R. Wallace, Esq.

Sir,— I received your letter of the 14th inst., but have not answered it earlier as I wished, before doing so, to make definite arrangements for the proposed experiment.

I have now decided to go to the Bedford Level with a surveyor from Town, on Monday or Tuesday next, and to take with me a powerful four-foot telescope.

Can you make it convenient to be present, or shall you leave it to your friends Mr. Coulcher of Downham ? If you will give me a letter of introduction, I will call upon him and make arrangements for the trial to take place as soon as possible.

Yours, &c. | "PARALLAX," Editor of the Zetetic.

Address:— "Parallax," 24, Leighton Road, Kentish Town, London.
