The librarian of the Royal Institution presents his compliments to the Secretary of the Linnenan Society, and would be glad to hear whether they possess any portraits or relics of Darwin which it might be possible for them to lend for exhibition at the Conversazione at the Royal Insitutiton on January 22, when Dr Alfred Russel Wallace is to deliver a Discourse on "The World of Life: as Visualised and Interpreted by Darwinism".
