I forwarded a copy of your letter addressed to the President before his departure for Australia, but no reply has reached me.
At yesterday's Council your generous offer was taken into consideration, but before making any decision, the Council would be glad to borrow the Catalogue of the books which constitute the late Dr. Wallace's library. Could you lend this for a few days?
