Thanks for the 4 letters. My list lecture by Mr. Hensley, has one dated April 25th 1851, for to Sir W. Hooker, making 3 in April. Perhaps that to D^r Semann is the one, and, unless it is purely buisness it may as well be copied.

The rough journal of the voyage from Santarem to Barra is not wanted, as that portion^of this his travels — Para to Barra — was prepared for the press by D^r. Spence himself: afterwards there are only a short diary & notes [1 word illeg.] the letters. [2] The copying of these last letters is quite satisfactory.
