Many thanks for the seeds you have been so good as to have send me. I have just sown them and have no doubt they will flower. I expect you have many fine plants which are little known in our gardens. The Desmanthus you have sent does not appear either in Goultins Rocky Mt. Flora & Gregs' Eastern Flora,, and many others are equally peculiar. It is I suppose the true Practice flora, and I shall be much oblidged for any more seeds next year.
