I send you all there are of Holmes & S. P. Thompson’s — The others (shorts) I suppose are no good. I wish you luck, but I fear there will be Scores of applicants. Will your present Boss give you a testimonial?

The storm Thursday night [2] was terrific- In N. Wales said to be worst for 100 years — Menai Bridge torn away from fastening to towers & swinging loose.
I can’t find Nanttle anywhere. Tell us exactly where it is. It is not a Parish so I suppose it is only a quarry.
Our damage was 2 panes glass from greenhouse, & rain blown in mysteriously under floor of mud room & dropped in middle of [3] dining room. It roared tremendously & Ma2 couldn’t sleep.
My article is in March Fortnightly. Hard at work at book. Do not buy photos.
