Parkstone, Dorset.

Novr.. 27th. 1892

Dear Dr. Masters1

I want to get a few of the half-hardy Sikhim Rhodendrons [sic], especially some of the following species, but I cannot find them in any nurserymen’s list –

R[hododendron]. campanulatum

[R.] glaucum

[R.] lepidotum

[R.] Metternichii

[R.] Veitchianum

[R.] virgatum.

Can you tell me where I am likely to get them? I have had R. cinnabarinum, from Veitch2, and R. fulgens & R. cilialum from Rogers of Southampton, but can find none of the others.

yours very truly | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
