Dear Dr Wallace,

Mr Rothschild2 told me before he left for Algeria that you would like to have figures of some of the showy Papilios from New Guinea. As I have some plates (proofs) from Seitz,3 Macrolepidoptera of the World,4 I have the pleasure of sending them here enclosed. I have added two plates from Novitates Zoologicae.5

With kind regards, yours very faithfully & sincerely | K. Jordan.6 [signature]
