WYKEHAM HOUSE,
OXFORD POST & TELEGR.
9: V: 1936.
Dear Mr Savage,1
I was so sorry to hear of your illness when I called at the Linn. Soc.y. last Thursday & trust that you are much better now.
I am sending they enclosed letter concerning the 8 M.S. books2 of A. R. Wallace’s which I left. I think the Society may wish to keep it in o association with this very important & interesting [2] gift. I should like to know what the Council thinks about the hat.3 If no other suggestion is made I think it might be offered to a School or other museum in a place such as Godalming4 where he foun lived at one time.
Hoping to hear that you are much better,
Yours sincerely | E. B. Poulton.4 [signature]
