Dear Mr. Waterhouse1
The enclosed small Longicorns2 came out yesterday of the roots of an Orchid I received from Buenos Ayres, some months ago (a Brazilian species of Stanhopea3 I believe). Perhaps if you have them, you will kindly give me the name and native country if they are well known.
If common, do what you like with them, but I hope they may be worth keeping.
Yours very truly | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
