Broadstone, Dorset
July 27th. 1903
My dear Will1,
You can say "Mr H.E. Dresser2 informed me" etc. etc.
Write as briefly & to the point as possible — stating the different kinds of electrical work you have done, — with names of firms you have worked for. He will have forgotten the particulars he had about you before, — & your letter, now, he will probably [2] keep for future reference in case anything turns up.
Violet3 is coming home on Saturday — with some some[sic] chickens — feathered ones only.
In haste | Your affectionate Pa | Alfred R Wallace [signature]
