G. A. Boulenger Esq.1

Dear Sir

Can you without much trouble give me the names of the genera of Snakes, Lizards and Batrachia which are peculiar (or very nearly so) to the Palaearctic Region? And also the families & genera of Batrachians peculiar to the Nearctic Region? If you can give me these at your earliest convenience you will much oblige

Yours very truly | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
