My dear Flower1
I sent off a short note2 yesterday to Ed. of "Fortnightly" hoping he might get it in the Oct. number but I fear it will be too late. It takes a great deal to bring me to London now, & I have so many arrears of correspondence & other work during my absence in America3 that I fear I shall not be able to come [2] to the Museum for some time, but I shall keep in mind your kind offer to show me your new arrangements.
Believe me │yours faithfully │Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
