Dear Mr. Darwin
I write a few lines in great haste to acknowledge the receipt of your letter with the accompanying packet of MS. & proof.— The latter I will go through carefully & shall be guided by circumstances as to the best course to adopt with regard to Dr. Krause’s proofs.—1 All the quotations were most carefully copied so that there will, I think, be no necessity for any reference to the originals.— All your suggestions I will bear in mind & will send the proof to Clowes as soon as possible.—2 The German MS. I will send to Dr. Krause as soon as I have gone through the proof—
Believe me | Yours very truly | W. S. Dallas
