My dear Sir

As this note requires no sort of answer, I send it to say that on considering “ways & means”, I sh^d. be sorry to hear of a Farm at above, fifteen-thousand pounds; & one, like my present one, at 12, or 13, or 14 thousand would suit me very well.—

The money from L^d. Powis¹ will, I hear, be paid up on 1^st of July; but it can very well lie a little in the Bank until you can hear of something which you can recommend.—
