Sir,
A meeting of the friends of the late Professor Sedgwick will be held in the Senate-House, Cambridge, on Tuesday, March 25th, at Two o’Clock, to consider the steps to be taken for raising a Memorial to him.
The Duke of Devonshire, Chancellor of the University, has consented to preside on the occasion.2
The Committee appointed to carry out the arrangements hope that you may find it practicable to be present at the Meeting.
