Sir,

I beg to inform you that the Forms for observations upon the Lime Light transmitted in your Letter of 9th instant1, have been issued to the Masters of the Light Vessels and the Pilot Cutters and also to the Light Keepers in the Ramsgate District, and that they have been directed to forward the 1st series of their observations up to the 24th instant inclusive.- I am also to forward a Copy of a Letter received from Mr. Renton2 in which he states the adjustments to the Lamp will have been completed on the 17th3.- The Elder Brethren will be glad to join you whenever it may suit your convenience to visit the Light House, of which I shall be glad to receive due Notice.-
