I am directed by the Elder Brethren to convey to you their best thanks for your full & very interesting Report on Prossers Lime Light1 as now exhibited at the South Foreland, and to state that in accordance with your suggestions they propose observing it from the Sea as soon as circumstances will permit;- and that early notice shall be given you when the time for the observation shall have been determined upon.
