I am directed by the Elder Brethren to convey to you their best thanks for your full & very interesting Report on Prossers Lime Light¹ as now exhibited at the South Foreland, and to state that in accordance with your suggestions they propose observing it from the Sea as soon as circumstances will permit;- and that early notice shall be given you when the time for the observation shall have been determined upon.
