James Timmins Chance to Faraday   3 February 1862

Handsworth Birmingham | 3 Feb. 1862

My dear Mr Faraday,

I have your note of the 1st1, with the accompanying papers, which shall [receive] my early attention.

It is much better to avoid all formality in this matter, wh: really needs nothing of the kind. The D.M.2 has, I am sure, judged rightly.

Very truly yours | J.T. Chance.

William Pigott.
