To Frederick Bailey   22 November 1887

22/11/87

The Acacia, which you raised from seeds near Sea-Range,1 dear Mr Bailey, is an entirely new species, and particularly beautiful too! I have named it in honor of yourself. Shall I publish the description here or send it to you?2 What a pity, that it cannot at once be put into the Atlas3 for want of fruits.

Regardfully

your

Ferd von Mueller
